WCCS Newsletters

The West Coast Computer Society (WCCS) published newsletters for much of the period between 1976-September to 1990-September. These issues contain some interesting information from that era. As more issues are scanned, they will be added to this page.

For privacy reasons, member telephone numbers and mailing addresses have been redacted. (I suspect most of this information is not current anymore, but need to be careful with member privacy.) Unredacted copies are only available on special request.

My scanning system currently consists of:

• scanner: Epson Stylus CX3810 multi-function printer (over 14 years old), manually fed, using a black backing paper to reduce bleedthru
• scanning software: NAPS2
• files: each page scanned at 600 dpi (black & white), saved into one TIFF file per page, using G4 compression
• image editting: GIMP
• OCR and PDF creation: NAPS2
