Microcontroller Software and Hardware Design
I specialize in software and hardware design for small embedded systems. My current favourite microcontroller is the ultra-low-power MSP430 from Texas Instruments. In the near future I plan to update this web site to show more of the products I have developed for my clients, and for myself. Refer to the Site Map for web pages that have already been posted.
In the 1980's I mostly used the Motorola 6809 microprocessor. Some of you may remember my Sardis Technologies ST-2900 computer boards (sold mostly in kit form), and the "no halt" DMC floppy disk controller cartridge for the Radio Shack Color Computer.
Note: My former www3.telus.net/dcwiens1 web site is no longer available.
Telus shut down the site without any warning on or before 2020-Aug-01.
Their Home Internet plans will no longer offer Subscriber Web Domain Hosting,
and they are migrating their e-mail service to Google.
